Komorowski 53,1%, Kaczyński 46,9%, frekwencja 56,2%. Pierwsze sondaże powyborcze w dniu wczorajszym o godzinie 20.00 nie pozostawiły złudzeń: drugą turę wyborów prezydenckich wygrał kandydat Platformy Obywatelskiej, marszałek Sejmu Bronisław Komorowski. Dziś, 12 godzin później, wyniki już niemal oficjalne były bardzo podobne: Komorowski uzyskał 52, 63% głosów, Kaczyński 47,37% przy frekwencji 55%. Na Komorowskiego zagłosowało 8.343.768 osób, na Jarosława Kaczyńskiego zaś 7.510.735 wyborców.  Polacy za granicą opowiedzieli się za Komorowskim: w Belgii, Szkocji, Czechach, Włoszech i Niemczech.  W USA tradycyjnie już wygrał kandydat związany ze środowiskiem radiomaryjnym, ale ten elektorat prochu już nie wymyśli. Polski wyborca na Ukrainie, Białorusi i Litwie opowiedział się za Komorowskim, podobnie jak w Anglii.  Mimo wszystko było ciekawie, gdyż po ogłoszeniu wstępnych sondażowych wyników wydawać się mogło, że zwycięstwo jest pewne. Zakończyły się wybory prezydenckie. Zwycięzcą okazał się Bronisław Komorowski. Jednakże różnica między kandydatem Platformy Obywatelskiej, a Jarosławem Kaczyńskim była niewielka i w zależności od sondażu, wahała się w granicach od 2 do 6%. Ostatecznie, osiągnęła ona wynik 5%. Obrazuje to, iż polskie społeczeństwo nadal jest podzielone. Zgodnie z linią podziału ustaloną w 2005 roku między Polskę liberalną a Polskę solidarną. Czy nowy prezydent stanie się prezydentem wszystkich Polaków i czy Polacy uwierzą w nowego prezydenta?
